Dina is a wife, mama, designer, and dreamer! Her two boys, Hashem and Sanad, bring new meaning and vision to her life.... more

Long before I became a mother, I watched one of Oprah Winfrey’s shows, she featured mothers that became successful business owners, inspired from their own motherhood experiences.

I remember thinking “Wow, this is exactly what I want to be! I want to create my own success story as a mother”.  Soon after that, I totally forgot about this thought.

I studied Graphic design, and since I love art, I enjoyed it. I worked in multinational companies, I worked my way up into a challenging career, I was doing well. Still, I was not satisfied, it wasn’t my dream.

I didn’t know what my dream was, but I always knew I wanted to help people, guide them in some way.

In 2012, I got my first dream come true, I became a mother.

I thought when I become a mother, I wouldn’t care much about work, that I would be selfish if I kept my job. After all, I had my dream baby. Instead, I became more passionate.

Turned out being a mother made me better at work and being better at work made me a better mother. A couple of years later, I had my second child, and my passion to fulfill my dream grew.

At that time, I had challenges with my children and realized that there were no parenting platforms in the Arab region that I can trust.

I was shocked that all online platforms were only a bad copy and translation of other western resources! I had access to great experts, and I knew mothers in our region need their help, this is how I started 360Moms.

That was five years ago, and what I didn’t know then is how difficult being an entrepreneur is, it’s not an easy journey.

Especially when you go through it on your own at the beginning, with very low capital, and with no business background. But, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, it’s all worth it.

I have an amazing team that I’m very proud of, investors that believe in me and my vision, and most importantly; hundreds of thousands of mothers that are positively impacted by 360Moms, many of these mothers contribute back by lessons learned through parenthood, and this brings out a whole community.

I’m also enjoying motherhood, I’m there for my two sons every single day since we have the “flexible hours” policy at the office.

My advice is; if you have a dream, go for it, even when people don’t believe in you and don’t believe you can make it, and if you don’t realize your dream yet, you will by time, just follow your heart and you will get there.
