Preparation: 10
Cooking:

Ingredients

2 mini buns Filling: it could be zaatar, labneh, cream cheese, turkey and cheese, or whatever your little one like better. cheese slices Black olives Cream cheese

Method

Step 1:

For this lunchbox you will be using mini buns, start with the filling, it could be zaatar, labneh, cream cheese, turkey and cheese, or whatever your little one like better. For extra flavor, my son always finds it more exciting if I add cucumber and olive slices to the sandwich.

Step 2:

Use a round shape cutter (this can simply be a bottle cap around the house) to cut eyes out of cheese slices. Glue the eyes to the bun using cream cheese, spread few drops with a toothpick and then put the eyes.

Step 3:

Cut the bottom part of whole pitted black olives for the pupils, and glue them on the eyes with cream cheese as well.

Step 4:

For the mouth, you can use olives, cucumbers or carrots, just basically cut a “c” shaped smile and glue it with cream cheese.  And voila your happy sandwiches are ready

Step 5:

For a full nutritious meal, add one or more of the following depending on your kids’ preferences; fruits, vegetables, un-salted nuts, pudding, milk, juice, dried fruits.
