Egyptian Puff Pastry Pudding

Ingredients

  • nearly 300 gm Puff Pastry Sheets
  • 250 ml cream (30% Fat )
  • 750 ml Full cream Milk
  • 1/2 to 1 Cup of Roasted Nuts & Raisins
  • 3/4 cup Sugar Vanilla

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 200 °C.
  • Cut the prepared Pastry Sheets into pieces and put in a large pan.
  • Sprinkle nuts on top.
  • Over medium heat, heat together milk, cream (remove 3 Tbsp. for the topping) and vanilla.
  • Keep stirring till they get warm to hot.
  • Pour over the Puff Pastry, then cover top with the remaining 3 Tbsp. of cream.
  • Enter the Oven for around 15 minutes till you have a Golden Brown top.
  • Serving:
  • Served Warm or cold (I prefer warm).
  • You can add some extra milk if you had to heat it for seconds in Microwave because it gets thicker when it rests.
