“My Little Surprises by Carine” is the creation of mompreneur, Carine Abboud, who was inspired to share her stories and adventure as a mother in Arabic to help, reach out and support all the mothers in the Middle East region.

Quote: I realized that I m always trying to be a perfect mom, and this made me very tired most of the time. Juggling home, kids and work altogether are hard.There is nothing that can prepare you for motherhood, I read a lot of books and did a lot of researches but they rarely give me the full story. So maybe some real-life stories of a mom might help other mothers and let them know that they are not alone 

Lebanese born, Carine Abboud has been in the UAE since 2008 with a career spanning over 17 years. After obtaining her degree in Business Management from the esteemed St. Joseph University (USJ) in Beirut, her career first began in the world of modeling with shoots for prestigious designers/brands such as Nicolas Jebran, George Hobeika, and Zuhair Murad.  

Later she went on to public relations management roles within renowned organizations in Lebanon prior to moving to Dubai, UAE. In Dubai, she started her career with the Pragma Group, growing from Marketing Manager at White Label Entertainment for their lifestyle concepts to Group Marketing Director overseeing the communications for over ten companies within the group.  

Carine has long had an entrepreneurial spirit and in addition to her marketing role, she also runs an image and fashion consultancy helping celebrities and people from all walks of life to achieve their self-presentation goals. She regularly appears on image and fashion consultancy segments on TV and online, including weekly appearances on Sabah Al Kheir Ya Arab (MBC1), Sayidaty (Rotana Khalijiya), Gheir.com and Keif.com.

Carine has also twice been selected as an Ahlan Top 100 trend-setter (2011, 2014) and as one of the most stylish people in Dubai by Timeout magazine in 2013.

Carine Launched her own business in 2016 “My Little Surprises” a selection of customized books and gifts, where she has taken her personal experience of becoming a mother and finding a gap in the market for educational books, to creating beautifully designed and authored books and gift ideas for children throughout the region. Her aim is to produce educational books that teach children how to read letters of the alphabet, spell their names and most importantly guide them through the various milestones of their development.
