Zeina Sahyoun Bio Technology

Zeina Sahyoun holds a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular & Cell Biology and a Master's degree in Biotechnology Research from the University of Kent at Canterbury, United Kingdom.  Her research was published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry in 1999.  In 1998, Ms. Sahyoun joined Unilever PLC in London and was sent to their regional office in Beirut, Lebanon as Quality and Safety manager of Unilever Levant's operations in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. After two active years with Unilever, she returned to her home country, Jordan, where she joined MedLabs Consultancy Group and set up their Quality Assurance Department. In 2002, She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and moved to California, USA, where she completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with particular focus on International Business and Marketing. On returning to Jordan, she re-joined MedLabs as Operations and Marketing Director, managing day-to-day laboratory operational issues as well as company-wide marketing strategies, budgets and plans. Since 2006 Ms. Sahyoun has been Chief Marketing Officer at MedLabs and oversees all public relations, social media, advertising, brand alignment, market research, business development and new projects implementation. Ms. Sahyoun is married with two children and is based in Amman, Jordan. She is an avid reader and traveler and admirer of all things related to art, music, health and spirituality. She also volunteers with various children’s charities and events and is passionate about women’s and children’s rights.
