Please introduce yourself and your blog.

My name is Cherine, I am a mother of two. A six-year-old girl and an 18-month-old boy. I am a full-time mom and my blog is a place where I can express myself. It's a personal space for me and consists of parenting advice, personal journals, tips, cooking and more.

What inspired you to start blogging?

Having my second child felt like it was my first. I realized that I have forgotten most things about parenting an infant. Then my daughter started feeling jealous of her brother and I didn't know how to deal with it! And whenever I asked someone for advice I felt as if they were judging me for not knowing how to deal with the situation. My only source was Google and online, I found a new world of mothers, most of them like me... they weren't afraid to express themselves and they were giving honest advice. That's when I got inspired to start my own blog and start sharing my story so I can help other moms who need it.

How has blogging changed you or your views on parenting?

Blogging changed my view on parenting by helping me try and experience new things, and by taking everything as easiest and coolest as I can without having to stress about the smallest details. Most importantly, it helped me listen more to my children and communicate with them in a modern way.

What is the advice you could give to someone who wants to start blogging?

The only advice I can give to those who want to start blogging is to be patient, it's going to take time before you see any results with your blog. Just remember to find your style and write about stuff you enjoy and know, but remember to write about things others will be interested to read about.

What are some of the unique things moms and their kids can do in Beirut?

There are a lot of activities in Beirut for moms and kids to do. However, I like to take my family somewhere outside the city, a place filled with greenery and away from the noise, like Taanayel Les Fermes, where we can have a picnic and communicate with one another.

Are there any bloggers who inspire you?

There isn't one in particular. However, there are a lot of international and Arab bloggers who have their own unique touch and impact.
